About Punjabi School

SFSJ Punjabi School provides children and families with an opportunity to learn Gurmukhi, Punjabi language, Sikh history, Gurbani, and cultural values in a supportive community environment.

Classes are designed to help students build confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding Punjabi while strengthening their connection with Sikh heritage and identity.

At SFSJ Punjabi School, we believe that progress is only possible with the support of our community and parents. As a language school, we actively involve parents, grandparents, and various community institutions to enrich our students' experiences. This approach has enabled us to offer diverse learning opportunities, improve retention rates, highlight the importance of the Punjabi language within the Sikh community. We offer numerous opportunities for parents to engage with the school and provide activities that connect our students with the broader community.

Programs

We offer classes for different age groups, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners. Lessons may include Punjabi alphabet, reading practice, speaking activities, Sikh history, and Gurbani recitation.
